Why do we love it?

For some time, his name has been whispered in the most hip wine lovers circles. Maybe you've heard it. It’s time for introductions.

Let's start with the rare Moschomavro. Prepare to hear much about it from now on. Along with it search for Siatista on the map and tag it, because everything indicates that this is only the beginning. But above all, open your wine journal and on a clean page write down the name Dimitris Diamantis, so you can say you knew him early.

Third generation winegrower and winemaker, he took the big risk of absolute modernization of a traditional winery with the application of the most modern techniques, while maintaining the character and peculiarities of local varieties in the best way. Because there are perfect technical wines, absolutely delicious, and there are those which, while intact, they let the variety to express its individuality, without the cover of common features of oenological techniques.

The Moschomavro, one of the rare, indigenous varieties of the region, was the big bet. Dimitris Diamantis believed in it. To be accurate, he believed so much that he decided to vinificate it on its own, fresh. No barrels or techniques that alter its characteristics. Absolute varietal expression. Great attention and care in the vineyard, low yield per hectare and minimal intervention winemaking gave a wine that expresses both the variety and one of the coldest terroirs in Greece in the best way.

As you expect from the name, it smells wonderful. Delightfully fresh, without aging, the Moschomavro 2017 Diamantis Winery is sure to bewitch you from the first moment with its aromas. And wait until the first sip. Full of vitality and intensity, it promises to change the way you think about reds and make you rethink whether you need to change your favorite wines around the year.
