Moschofilero Rose Moropoulos Winery is one of the most delicious and elegant roses we have ever tried. The sharp acidity of the variety in combination with the concentration of the fruit give an impressive rosé wine that will make you see Moschofilero differently!

Moropoulos family have had a long tradition in viticulture and started in 2015 to make their own wines based in Neochori, Arcadia, located in the heart of Mantineia. The privately owned vineyards are located at an altitude of 700-800 meters and some of them are grown organically. Their purpose is to discover the different dynamics of each plot and how it affects the expression of the special character of Moschofilero. Since the harvest of 2018, the reins of winemaking have been taken over by the experienced oenologist and agronomist Lefteris Anagnostou. Lefteris has many years of experience in Santorini’s vineyard due to his collaboration with the winery of Artemis Karamolegkos. Maybe that's why his wines have such sharpness and expressiveness. The wine ferments and matures in stainless steel tanks so that nothing overshadows its floral and aromatic character.

Moschofilero Rose Moropoulos Winery has pale pink color and intoxicating aromas of cherry, strawberry, Turkish delight, rose, jasmine, pink grapefruit and citron.

In the mouth it has medium body, crisp acidity and subtle oily feeling. Wild strawberry, white cherry, peach, lemon, tangerine, Turkish delight, icing sugar and lemon blossoms compose an aromatic maypole.
