Why do we love it?
The grace and elegance of Burgundy are incomparable and the Bourgogne Blanc of Dominique Cornin has it all! A top Chardonnay from his homeland, that has everything you are looking for: buttery character, acidity, finesse, and fruit concentration!
Dominique and his son, Romaine, have devoted themselves to biodynamic cultivation and winemaking with an emphasis on terroir and detail. In fact, their grapes do not have any chemicals on them because they believe that they would not put in their wines a grape that they would not give to their children to eat. Fully respecting the heritage of their ancestors and the grandeur of the place, they vinify each parcel separately to maintain its unique characteristics and have complete control over the final result (we said, emphasis on detail). Bourgogne Blanc of Dominique Cornin comes from different vineyards in Chaintre, Burgundy, all of which combined add complexity and balance to the wine. It ferments with indigenous yeasts and aged in old oak barrels, with lees contact, for 11 months. It is bottled unfiltered and without any other intervention. The result is impressive and rich and fervently demands a buttery, creamy risotto.
Put Bourgogne Blanc of Dominique Cornin in your glass and you'll understand why Burgundy is the top region of white wines in the world!
