Why do we love it?

Every year we complain because it sells our really early. This year we decided to get down from the beginning. Iama 2017 White Vriniotis Winery is already a fast-seller.

Assyrtiko and Malagouzia meet in one of the most classic and most loved Greek white blends with the place of origin ensuring experiences beyond the usual.

In Gialtra Edipsos, it is not just the incredible view that helps both varieties to ripen perfectly and express the best aspects of their characters. The particular soil and subsoil of the region (near Edipsos) adds mineral character to Assyrtiko and freshness and intensity in Malagouzia. Kostas Vriniotis and his dear friend and oenologist Gregory Skopelitis show their affection from the vineyard and the biological cultivation of the two varieties until the last detail in the bottling and its high quality stelvin cap.

The 2016 vintage earned him a place among those who stood out in your preferences and sold out quickly. We like the 2017 even better! How about you?

Tastes Like

Bright lemon-green color in the glass.

The aromatic party starts with the first sip dropping in the glass. Citrus, white-fleshed fruit and floral aromas are jumping out of the glass. This time jasmine and rose take the lead with lime, orange and peach following. Hints of honey, mango and carnation complement the uniquely fresh aromatic bouquet.

Rich in the mouth delicious, with balanced acidity and flavor duration. Peach, orange and jasmine stand and insist on the long, honey-like aftertaste.

PAIR IT

Pair with seafood, steamed mussels with white wine or refreshing salads

Quinoa salad with avocado and bell peppers

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of red and green bell peppers cut into cubes
  • 1/2 ripe avocado cut into thin slices
  • 2 tbsps. of onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsps. of lemon juice
  • 2 tbsps. of fresh oregano
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Balsamic cream

Boil the quinoa in a small pot and once the water boils, lower the heat and let simmer until it absorbs all the water (about 10 minutes).

Let the quinoa cool down.

Add all the ingredients except avocados to a bowl and mix well.

Garnish with 5-6 slices of avocado and serve with balsamic cream.
