Moschato Spinas was yet another forgotten Greek variety. A few years ago, two brothers, Manolis and Kostis Strataridakis decided to help it prove itself, giving it the place it deserves. At the southernmost winery in Europe, the variety was given the opportunity it needed. Today, it has been established in the Cretan vineyards and its single varietal wines have earned their place on the top of white aromatic Greek wines.
Both of them agriculturists, they cultivate their family-owned vineyards which consist mainly of the land of Sinai Monastery of the Holy Apostles at the foot of Asterousia near Heraklion.
Originating from the Province of Spina in Chania, Muscat of Spina, is related to small-berry Muscat, mainly differing in the thickness of the berry skin.
Uniquely elegant and aromatic, Muscat of Spina by Strataridakis Winery promises to impress the whole company with its freshness, brio and totally summery character!
