A complete guide to eating the ultimate Meze, with the right wine, will soon follow! And not just any appetizer. We are talking about Meze Agarikos from Dirfys Mushrooms.
The agronomists Lefteris Lahouvaris and Thanasis Mastrogiannis have been working in mycology since 1995. At the foot of Mount Dirfys, they created the model production and packaging unit for mushrooms.
Mezes Agariko is Agaric mushrooms, marinated in oil, homemade apple vinegar, lovage, bay leaves, thyme, lemon and orange peels. If you are not familiar with this variety, it is a fleshy mushroom with a very strong and earthy flavor. In Dirfys, they strengthened it even more with this specific marinade. You will be surprised, especially when you learn that it does not contain a trace of dyes or preservatives.
Make a pork fry with the content of the jar, or enjoy them plain, or in a green salad with parmesan flakes.
