SERVICES AND PAGES OF PERSONAL NATURE AND CONTENT

Botilia P.C. has been fully harmonized with the new Personal Data Protection Regulation and has cultivated a corporate culture throughout its staff by establishing a code of conduct for the protection of personal data. The company complies with applicable legislation on the Protection of Personal Data. Please read this Privacy and Privacy Statement to learn more about the type of information we collect about you through this website and how we use this information.

The user understands and accepts that Botilia.gr may adopt new terms of use for its services, including the time limits that e-mails, forums, user pages or/and any other content posted or/and published by the user/member at Botilia.gr. The users/members understand and accept that Botilia.gr reserves the right to deactivate e-mail accounts at any time and without penalty. In this case, users/members will be notified to receive their saved data, within a specific time frame. Notification will be sent both with an e-mail and a post at Botilia.gr. In case users/members don’t exercise their above stated right, data will be deleted entirely and permanently.

 

DATA COLLECTION AND USE 

Botilia.gr collects personal data a) when the visitor/user subscribes to its services, b) when the user uses Botilia.gr’s products and/or services, c) when the user visits its pages and/or enters its promotional/advertising programs and d) when the user takes part in contests. The personal information obligatorily collected are: for registration, First name – Last name – Age – Email address, whereas for placing an order, First name – Last name – Email address – Telephone number – Street address – Zip Code – City – Country.

It is possible that the following types of personal information might be collected, stored and used:

 

(a) Information relevant to the visitors’/users’ computer, their visits and activity, at Botilia.gr or in related applications (including their IP address, their geographic location, their browser type and edition, its operating system, its referral source, the duration of their visit, the pages read and the browsing routes in the website or related applications).

 

(b) Information provided during their registration at Botilia.gr or in related applications (including their e-mail address).

 

(c) Information provided during the completion of their profile at Botilia.gr or in related applications (including: their name, their profile pictures, their gender, their date of birth, their marital status, their interests and hobbies, educational details and career track).

 

(d) Information provided at Botilia.gr for their registration as subscribers to news, updates and newsletters of Botilia.gr, via e-mail.

 

(e) Information provided at Botilia.gr, using the services provided in the website or in related applications (including the time, frequency and way of use of the services).

 

(f)   Information related to the purchases of products / services / products and/or services of Botilia.gr or other transactions effected through Botilia.gr or through related applications (including their name, their address, their telephone number, their e-mail address and information regarding their credit card).

 

(g) Information they publish/upload at Botilia.gr or related applications with the purpose of it being published on the internet (including the user name they have established, their profile pictures and the content of their posts/uploads).

 

(h) Information included in, or connected to, any communication forwarded to Botilia.gr, or forwarded through Botilia.gr or through related applications (including the content of the communication and the metadata connected to the communication).

 

(i)   Any other personal information they choose to send to Botilia.gr, and

 

(j)   Provision of details related to other information collected.

 

Prior to disclosing third party personal information at Botilia.gr, the user must have the consent of this person/party both for the disclosure and for the processing of his/her personal data, in accordance to the present Policy.

 

Personal information provided through Botilia.gr, or related applications, shall be used for the purposes outlined in the present Policy or at Botilia.gr’s relevant pages or in related applications.

 

 Botilia.gr might use the user’s personal information:

(a)     For the administration of Botilia.gr or related applications and business

 

(b)     To personalize Botilia.gr or related applications for the user

 

(c)     To enable the user to use the services available at Botilia.gr or related applications

 

(d)     To forward goods purchased through Botilia.gr or related applications to the user

 

(e)    To forward statements, invoices and payment reminders to the user, and collect payments from user/member

 

(f)      To forward non-marketing commercial communications to the user

 

(g)     To forward to the user email notifications he/she has specifically requested

 

(h)     To forward Botilia.gr’s email newsletter to the user, if he/she has requested it (the user can inform Botilia.gr at any time that he/she no longer wishes to be subscribed to it)

 

(i)      To forward to the user marketing communications relating to its business (or the businesses of carefully-selected third parties) which might be of interest to the user, by post or, if the user has specifically agreed to this, by email or similar technology (the user can inform Botilia.gr at any time that he/she no longer wishes to receive notification of promotional activities)

 

(j)      To provide third parties with statistical information about its users (but those third parties will not be able to identify any individual user from that information)

 

(k)     To deal with enquiries and complaints made by, or referring to, Botilia.gr’s users or related applications

 

(l)      To maintain Botilia.gr or related applications secure and to prevent fraud

 

(m)    To verify compliance with the terms and conditions governing the use of Botilia.gr or related applications (including monitoring private messages sent through Botilia.gr or through the private messaging service of related applications).

 

If the user submits personal information for publication at Botilia.gr or related applications, these shall be published and the information shall be used in accordance with the permission granted by the user.

The Privacy Settings can be used to limit the publication of the user’s information at Botilia.gr or related applications, and can be adjusted using the privacy controls at Botilia.gr or related applications.

Without the explicit consent of the user, his/her personal information shall not be provided to any third party for the purpose of their or any other third party's direct marketing. 

Botilia.gr shall give the payment services provider only the information necessary for the processing of payments the user makes through Botilia.gr or related applications, for the refund of such payments and for dealing with complaints and queries relating to payments and refunds.

Newsletter: With subscription to newsletter, users/members accept to receive exclusive updates and information for the most important news, deals and offers on Botilia.gr’s products.

 

PERSONAL DATA CORRECTION AND/OR DELETION

 Botilia.gr grants its users/members the right to delete their personal data, correct and/or update their personal data, and/or deactivate their subscription at any given time, by forwarding a relevant e-mail message to Botilia.gr.

 

PERSONAL DATA DIFFUSION AND DISCLOSURE

 Botilia.gr commits not to proceed to the sale, lease, or by any means diffusion and/or publication of Botilia.gr’s visitors’/users’/members’ personal data to any third party.

Botilia.gr can disseminate its visitors’/users’/members’ personal data to third parties, legal and/or natural entities, only if: 

• it has the explicit consent of the visitors/users to diffuse their personal data.

 

• The dissemination of personal data to legal and/or natural entities collaborating with Botilia.gr is made necessary in order to meet the desires and/or orders of the users. The legal and natural entities that collaborate with Botilia.gr have the right to process the personal data that Botilia.gr users/members submit to it only to the extent absolutely necessary in order to provide support to Botilia.gr.

 

• It is made imperative for the compliance to the relevant provisions of the law, as well as with the competent authorities and only those.

 

Botilia.gr may reveal the user’s personal information to any employee, executive, insurance broker, professional advisor, agent, supplier or subcontractor to the extent reasonably necessary for the purposes outlined in the present Policy.

Botilia.gr might reveal the personal information of the users: 

 

(a) To the extent obligatory by the law

 

(b) In connection to a current or prospective legal proceeding

 

(c) To strengthen, exercise or protect its legal rights (including the provision of information to third parties for the avoidance of fraud and the containment of credit risk)

 

(d) To the buyer (or prospective buyer) of any activity or asset it intends (or considers) to sell

 

(e) To any individual who reasonably believes he/she may apply to a court or other competent authority for the disclosure of that personal information where, in Botilia.gr’s administrators’ reasonable opinion, such court or authority would be reasonably likely to order the disclosure of that personal information.

 

Apart from the occasions stipulated in the present Policy, Botilia.gr shall not provide third parties with personal information of its users.

 

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Information collected by Botilia.gr may be stored, processed in and transferred between any of the countries Botilia.gr operates in, with the purpose of enabling the use of the information in accordance with this policy.

Information collected by Botilia.gr may be transferred to the following countries which do not have data protection laws equivalent to those in force in the European Economic Area: the United States of America, Russia, Japan, China and India.

Personal information published by the users on Botilia.gr or related applications or submitted for publication on Botilia.gr or related applications might be made available, via the internet, around the world. Botilia.gr cannot prevent the use or misuse of such information by others. In any case, the transmission to third countries will be according to the conditions of the Regulation (ΕΕ) 2016/679 and any other executive Greek law, and with full compliance to what the law states.

The users expressly agree to the transfers of personal information described in this section.

 

RETAINING PERSONAL INFORMATION 

The present section sets out the data retention policies and procedures, which are designed to help ensure that Botilia.gr complies with its legal obligations in relation to the retention and deletion of personal information.

Personal information processed by Botilia.gr for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for the fulfillment of that purpose or those purposes. Botilia.gr retains personal data for six months after user/member has deleted or deactivated her/his account.

Notwithstanding the other provisions of this section, Botilia.gr shall retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data:

 

(a)     To the extent that it is required to do so by law;

 

(b)     If Botilia.gr’s administrators believe that the documents may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings; and

 

(c)     In order, Botilia.gr, to establish, exercise or defend its legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk).

 

SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

 Botilia.gr commits to protect all users’ personal information. Botilia.gr uses various technologies and safety procedures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, use or publication. For example, we save provided personal data in restricted computer systems, which are in controlled installations. When we transmit sensitive information (such as your credit card number or password) through the Internet, we protect them with encryption, such as the protocol SecureSocketLayer (SSL).

If a password is used to protect your account information and personal information, it is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not disclose this information to anyone. If you share a computer with another person, you should always log out before leaving a location or service to prevent access to your information from downstream users.

The user acknowledges that sending information over the Internet presents inherent security concerns and therefore Botilia.gr can not guarantee the security of the data being trafficked through it.

 

USERS’ RIGHTS

 

The user may instruct Botilia.gr to provide him/her with any personal information concerning him/her, in Botilia.gr’s procession; provision of such information will be subject to the supply of appropriate evidence of the user’s identity (for this purpose, the administrators of Botilia.gr usually accept a photocopy of the user’s ID card certified by a solicitor plus an original of a utility bill showing the user’s current address).

 Botilia.gr may withhold personal information requested by the user, to the extent permitted by law.

The user may instruct Botilia.gr at any time not to process his/her personal information for marketing purposes. 

In practice, the user shall usually either expressly agree in advance to the use of his/her personal information for marketing purposes, or Botilia.gr shall provide him/her with an opportunity to be exempted from the use of his/her personal information for marketing purposes.

RIGHTS RELATING TO PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED BY

 

We hereby notify you that you have the right:

            Access your data,

            Correct your data in case of inaccuracy,

            Deleting your data in specific cases,

            Restrict your data processing,

            Opposition to processing your data,

            Forward your data to another company,

            Complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority in case of an unfortunate violation of your data.

 Botilia.gr will review and respond to your requests within one month of receipt, and this deadline may be extended by a further 2 months if further time is required.
