Prosciutto di Parma 24 Mesi Levoni is a fine cold cut made from pork meat, which matures in ideal conditions, in the cellars of Parma, for 24 months. The dry Versilia breeze is responsible for its perfect maturation and complex taste. Prosciutto di Parma DOP is one of the first PDO products in Italy, with a history of centuries.
The pork leg is salted and air-dried for 24 months, acquiring a tender texture and balanced taste with a subtle saltiness and sweet notes. It may take off all the cold cut plateau and sandwiches, while you can put it raw on a Margherita pizza, as soon as it comes out of the oven!
Combine it with refreshing sparkling wines and fruity white wines from Pinot Grigio, Riesling, or Malagouzia.
