Cava Hatzimichali 1998 is a classic and rare red wine. It took 22 years to evolve as it should and to acquire a unique complexity.
It consists of the well-known Bordeaux blend, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes come from semi-mountainous vines in the valley of Atalanti. The vinification method followed is classic red and then the wine is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and for another 12 months in the bottle. It is a wine with great aging potential but after 22 years, it is now ready.
