Mavrose by T-Oinos Winery is an extremely special Greek rose wine from Mavrotragano and Augoustiatis, from the enchanting island of Tinos and one of the first rose wines to sell out every year. It uniquely combines red fruit with lemony acidity and it can accompany all summer dishes!
T-Oinos was the first winery to put Tinos on the wine map and was founded in 2002 in Falatado, Tinos. Assyrtiko, Malagouzia, Mavrotragano, and Augoustiatis are planted for the first time on the island. From the very first bottling, the samples were extremely encouraging and almost promised the brilliant course that would follow. The wines of the winery are very sought-after and are selling really fast every year.
Mavrose is one of them and perhaps the Best Seller rose of Cyclades. The grapes come from the vineyards Sparveri and Agios Dimitrios at an altitude of 400m. The blend consists of 80% Augustiatis - 20% Mavrotragano. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks with ambient yeasts and matures there with its fine wine lees for 3 months. The result is fruity and expressive, with crisp acidity and subtle oiliness.

Tastes Like
It has pale pink color and delicate aromas of strawberry, white cherry, pomegranate, white flowers, pink grapefruit, peach, and lemon.
In the mouth, it has medium body, crisp acidity, and a slightly oily feeling. Juicy red fruits are mixed with citrus and notes of dough and flowers.
