VIOGNIER LATE HARVEST 2015 - GIANNIKOS WINERY

Viognier Late Harvest of Giannikos Winery is undoubtedly an exuberant and impressive dessert wine, perfect closure for a formal dinner.

Giannikos Winery has 2 vineyards one in Corinth around the winery and another in Mycenae, near the famous archaeological site and the birthplace of Greek wine growing. The grapes were harvested overripe from the privately owned vineyard in Mycenae. The wine was then fermented and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels to emphasize its complexity.

Deep golden color with intense aromas of passion fruit jam, apricot, peach, lime and lemon. Discreet notes of honey, honeysuckle and dried flowers complement the impressive bouquet. Oily mouth with a rich body, balanced sweetness and refreshing acidity.
