ROSE BUBBLY - APOSTOLOS MATAMIS

When the sophisticated oenologist Apostolos Matamis, after years of oenological consulting for some of the most famous Greek wineries, decided to make his own line of wines, he selected the best terroirs for each of the varieties he decided to work with.

For Rose Bubbly, his stunning semi-dry and semi-sparkling rosé wine he chose Kaminia of Lemnos with the volcanic and sandy soils. Muscat of Alexandria and Muscat Red used in a small proportion (5%) in the blend. Consistent northeast winds that blow in the region throughout the year and the climate of the Aegean ensure the healthy development of the fruit, which is harvested at ideal levels of ripeness.

The alcoholic fermentation is stopped when the alcohol level reaches 7.5% giving the Rose Bubbly a lighthearted style while the intense aromatic character of the blend and the light sweetness in the palate, make Rose Bubbly by Apostolos Matamis the ultimate aperitif wine.

Pale pink color with violet hues and soft foaming in the glass.

The fruity and floral character of the blend can not be hidden, with peach, strawberry and blood orange accompanied by daisy, jasmine and chamomile in botanical background of oregano and green tea.

Delicate mouth with light sweetness that emphasizes the fruity and floral flavor character and balanced acidity which adds freshness and fine, persistent bubbles. The long aftertaste leaves a sense of peach in the mouth that lasts.
