Why do we love it?
Reposado Rosa in its iconic pink glazed porcelain bottle, is created from a blanco base that is left for 65 days in French oak red wine barrels. There it ages, softens, develops complexity and finesse but also acquires a rich, unique rosé color - heritage of the red wine that was housed in the barrel and left its coloring memories on the wood. The result is visually reminiscent of Provence rosé. Don't be fooled though. This is a tequila like no other. Her pale pink color hides a "lady" with a strong and refined personality. Berries, plums and black cherries emerge from the glass while in the mouth it is soft, round with a rich texture and aroma of fresh agave combined with vanilla, butterscotch and hints of dark chocolate. The finish is delightfully long, rich and very smooth with notes of strawberry and chocolate.
Komos Reposado Rosa has a stunning nose of candied pineapple surrounded by a lively "aura" of agave and lime zest. The mouth is rich, with floral and delicate fruit notes from its time in French oak. The finish is mineral and dry, with a subtle sweetness.
