Methexis Cigar from Domaine Costa Lazaridi is a spirit unlike any other. First, because it is one of the very few (perhaps the only one) distillates created specifically to accompany cigars. Its name is no coincidence. Methexis in ancient Greek means “participation,” a concept used by Plato to describe the relationship between the tangible and the ideal. Domaine Lazaridi chose this name to declare that this spirit is not just a drink, but a whole experience to be lived fully!
Methexis Cigar Domaine Costa Lazaridi was born from overripe Sauvignon Blanc grapes, first matured in new French oak barrels and then in barrels that previously hosted the iconic Amethystos Sauvignon Blanc. This gave the distillate a deep yet delicate character.
Its alcohol is powerful, yet the palate remains refined, with notes of dried fruit, vanilla, tobacco, and caramel embracing the senses. Bottled in a jewel‑like decanter, it is enjoyed ideally alongside a fine cigar.
