KYDONITSA 2017 - DOMAINE THEODORAKAKOS

  Laconia
SORRY GUYS, WE RAN OUT OF THIS ONE

Rare Greek varieties: Kydonitsa - Harmony from Laconia!

SEND PAGE TO FRIEND

Why do we love it?

The charismatic, almost extinct, white variety Kydonitsa, revived in recent decades in the region of Laconia. The white wine produced from it, has great interest, balanced, with a light body and quince flavors (hence its name).

Kydonitsa 2015
This white wine by Domaine Theodorakakos is undoubtedly one of the best exclusive winemakings of Kydonitsa. With characteristic aromas of quince and rounded character, it is certainly among the wines you should try.

In the eye Lemon with green highlights.

Fruity, aromas of peach, apricot and quince, are combined with floral aromas of jasmine and lemon blossom. A hint of smoke and vegetativeness complete the complex aromatic profile.

On the palate, rounded, medium-volume body, with gentle acidity. The aftertaste is of medium length and as it is usual for the variety it leaves a peach sense in the mouth.
