Trygias 2011

Trygias is a unique white wine produced from the black variety of Xinomavro (blanc de noir) proving the potential and charisma of this variety even in white wines. The stay of Trygias in French oak barrels - for 6-7 months - has contributed to the complexity of this wine, and has given an intense aroma and a noticeable flavor character.

The colour is pale yellow with gray highlights.

The aromas is a combination of a rich bouquet of sweet fruit and white flowers, varietal characteristics of Xinomavro, with the honey, vanilla, pepper, tobacco and wood which are given while wine is staying in the barrel

The complexity is the main characteristic of this wine. The body is medium, with refreshing acidity and rich aromas of the mouth. The notes of wood, which remain in a long-lasting aftertaste, leave a spicy sensation in the mouth.
