Chateau Julia Chardonnay by Domaine Costa Lazaridi is one of the few Chardonnays without a trace of oak, which is distinguished every year in competitions both inside and outside Greece.
The emblematic winery of Costa Lazaridi in Drama has been making the most classic and emblematic wines for years under the name Chateau Julia! Knowing very well how much work is done in the vineyard, they are very confident in the quality of the grapes, otherwise, they wouldn't choose to let Chardonnay speak for itself, without oak aging and other winemaking tricks. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperatures to highlight its elegant, fruity, and aromatic character. Then it matures for a few months with its fine wine lees and it is bottled in its well-known, elegant bottle.

Tastes Like
It has pale lemon color and elegant aromas of lemon, bergamot, pineapple, banana, peach, dough, and white flowers such as honeysuckle and chamomile. In the mouth, it has an enjoyable oily texture, balanced acidity, and medium body. Juicy apricot, lemon, citron, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, and fresh sourdough compose a delicious set.
