Kleidi Malagouzia by Michailidis Estate is one of the wines selected to accompany the anniversary dinner of the President of the Republic. The reason? It’s an elegant and textbook example of the Malagouzia variety, crafted by a rising winery from Drama, Greece!
The Michailidis Winery in Agios Athanasios, Drama, focuses on both indigenous and international grape varieties, producing wines with character and quality. Iordanis Michailidis represents the third generation of his family in winemaking. It all began when his grandfather arrived as a refugee from Asia Minor, settling in Kyrgia, Drama, where he planted the family's first vineyard. Since 2004, Iordanis has led the winery, elevating both its wines and its potential.
Kleidi Malagouzia is a shining example. After careful grape selection, the wine ferments and ages in stainless steel tanks on fine lees for four months, enhancing the variety’s rich, oily texture.
With tropical fruit, floral notes, and juicy peach, it’s intensely aromatic and irresistibly enjoyable. Try it now!
