Why do we love it?
A wine to accompany you everywhere. This is the White of Vogiatzis!
This is a family with a deep knowledge of the vineyard of Kozani and a deep belief in organic farming. If you summarize their story in one sentence, it would be that they went for trade and eventually sold only wine and tsipouro, since for years the family of wine merchants sold the wine of Velventos in the city of Katerinis. Vogiatzi's story begins at the beginning of the century until, around the 90s, the family settled in Katerini maintaining a wine shop-ouzeri. That was the period when they decided to build a new vineyard of 30 acres on the borders of the lake of Polyphytos, which will be distinguished by the quality and finesse of its wines. Three generations later, the two brothers Nikos and Giannis, did not manage to leave the precious Greek vineyard. After their studies abroad, they came back, have won our trust and bring us this and many other examples to our table.
The white Vogiatzi comes from the grapes of the family's privately owned vineyard next to the lake of Polyphytos. It is from three characteristic varieties, Chardonnay and Assyrtiko which give the body and Malvasia Aromatica which gives the aromas. The cultivation is organic and the result is exquisite!
