Why do we love it?
Do you know which is the best Malagouzia of 2019? We just found out. The year rightfully belongs to Malagouzia by Ktima Iatridi. The gold medal and the Best in Show award, the best overall wine from Greece, in the recent Mundus Vini global competition among thousands of samples, came to confirm it.
From the first moment that Malagouzia by Ktima Iatridi was released, 3 years ago, it showed that it has what it takes to be a star. And now, she’s already one.
Ktima Iatridi is located in Lakoma, Halkidiki, on the borders of the Prefectures of Halkidiki and Thessaloniki, at an altitude of 350-450 meters. A key feature of the area is its very cool microclimate, with large temperature differences during the day, a result of the location and influence of the Thermaic Gulf.
This Malagouzia surely had a great time both during cultivation and winemaking. Intense, explosively fragrant, it will magnetize you from the very first moment the cork pops.
When was the last time you had a wine you couldn’t resist? When you try it, you will understand that it is a real Malagouzia from northern Greece. Concentrated, juicy, with intensity and duration.
Yes, this is Malagouzia of the year.

Bright yellow with greenish reflections on the glass, indicative of its freshness. It will break your nose with the typical for Malagouzia peach aromas combined with night flower and jasmine while a light mango sense will add an exotic feel. Full-bodied, with refreshing acidity and a long finish that makes it exciting.
