Malagouzia turns Orange! Malagouzia Orange by Kamkouti Vineyard, the one you have been looking for so long, just landed in our cellar! From its first presentation in Voroina, you didn't stop looking for it and you were right.

Malagouzia Orange is not just another aromatic, fruity, light wine, but this different, unique wine that came to shake up the wine scene. The wine flows in the blood of the Kamkouti family and creating a special orange wine was the next step in their already brilliant course. The inspiration came from the traditional winemaking method used by their great-grandfather. The juice remained with the skins for a long time, over a month, until the wine acquired an impressive structure and complexity. The result is simply mind-blowing!

Malagouzia Orange is this Malagouzia that can be paired with almost everything so that you do not have to pick any other wine over your favorite variety!

Medium orange color with copper highlights and intense aromas of orange, apricot jam, peach, lotus, quince, kumquat, bitter orange, and nutty hints. Moderate body, crisp acidity, and a slight suspicion of tannins compose an impressive structure.

with smoked fish roe, baked lamb, risotto with fresh tomato sauce and shrimps, sweetbreads and mushrooms.

Stuffed chicken roll with quince and potatoes in the oven

  • 1 stuffed chicken roll
  • 1kg potatoes cut into small pieces
  • 500 gr quince cut into thick slices
  • 2 lemons (juice and zest)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tbsps. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp. curry powder
  • 1 tbsp. fresh oregano
  • 1 tbsp. fresh thyme
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 600 ml of vegetable stock

Preheat the oven to 250 ° C. Add the olive oil to the casserole, then the chicken roll, the cut quince and the potatoes.

Mix the remaining ingredients with a small portion of the stock and pour the mixture on the roll and potatoes. Add stock so that the mixture covers the potatoes.

Cover the casserole and, after lowering the oven to 150 ° C, put it in the oven. From time to time we open the casserole and check whether we need to add some water.

Once ready, uncover the casserole and raise the oven temperature. Leave it there until it's golden brown.
