Why do we love it?

Wine in Santorini is a family affair. Third generation of winemakers, Artemis Karamolegkos continues the family tradition in the village of Exo Gonia. The volcanic composition of the soil of the region has mixed harmonically with the unique character of  Assyrtikowhich has adapted to survive in extreme conditions of the island.

Terra Nera 2013 is the result of the hard work of a headstrong winemaker with passion and desire. Winning a gold medal in the wine competition of Thessaloniki anda bronze in Decanter 2014, the largest International WineContest, confirms the difference that separates the island's wines and places them in a prominent position on the world market.

Tastes Like

Bright yellow color impresses in the glass.

On the nose the lemonish aromas of fresh fruit combined with ripe yellow fruit and a lightly herbal sensation, while the minerality is pervasive in the form of gunpowder.

In the mouth intense, full bodied with characteristicexplosive acidity. Light sweetness highlights the fruit in the mouth while the long aftertaste it leaves a distinctiveminerality that fascinates in the mouth.
