Chardonnay 2022 of Adam Wines is one of the few non-oaky on the market. Stainless steel and lees contact compose a juicy Chardonnay, with rich fruit, a bit reminiscent of the new world’s style.
At the boutique winery Adam Wines from Adam village in Thessaloniki, they chose to grow, biologically, of course, their favorite white variety in the schist soils of their vineyard. Low yields, careful and strict sorting are the basis of Chardonnay 2022 by Adam Wines. With a modern and fresh look, they preferred not to overshadow the aromas of the variety with the use of barrel as usual. So, they used light battonnage (regular stirring) with fine wine lees for about 4 months, in order to give extra volume, oiliness, and complexity.
