Why do we love it?

Magic Mountain white Nico Lazaridi is an anthem to Sauvignon Blanc and to the classic elegance since it is one of the most timeless Greek wines. At the same time, it is one of the wines that is sold out first every year and the vintage of 2020 is expected to be collectible.

The winery or Chateau of Nikos Lazaridis, in the Agora of Drama has for 30 years been recognized in the minds of consumers as one of the most important wineries in Northern Greece. Now the winery has the scent of a woman since Federika Lazaridi is now in the realm of the winery, as an oenologist.

The Magic Mountain is the wine - symbol of the winery. Each year, the iconic Magic Mountain has a different label, created by a painter (in the logic of the iconic Chateau Mouton Rothschild in Pauillac). Specifically, this year, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Greek revolution, its label is decorated with Winged Victory of Samothrace, designed by George Koftis. The classic and favorite content, consists of 100% Sauvignon Blanc that ages for 6 months in selected oak barrels, along with its fine wine lees. Needless to say, this wine is designed for long aging.

Magic Mountain white of Nico Lazaridi is the proof that the classics are classics and favorites for some reason.

Tastes Like

Magic Mountain white Nico Lazaridi has medium lemon color with golden hues and an impressive nose. Intense aromas of melon, peach, pineapple, lemon, vanilla, honey, toast, honeysuckle, smoke and bergamot.

In the mouth it has medium to full body, crisp acidity and an oily feeling. Ripe stone fruits are mixed with tropical fruits and notes of sweet spices and butter.
