Through a tasting of outstanding varieties you simply must try, they’ll help you see Marlborough in a whole new light. For the very first time in Greece, the team behind one of New Zealand’s most renowned boutique wineries will present some of their exceptional wines and guide us through the unexplored beauty of Marlborough in a one-of-a-kind tasting event!
Behind Blank Canvas are Matt Thomson, one of New Zealand’s leading winemakers, and Sophie Parker-Thomson MW, the country’s youngest Master of Wine with extensive harvest experience across both hemispheres. Together, they have created a portfolio of wines that consistently earn rave reviews and top scores from the world’s most respected critics, including Robert Parker, Julia Harding MW (JancisRobinson.com), Rebecca Gibb MW, James Suckling, and many more.
Blank Canvas cultivates Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Noir, and Syrah in some of New Zealand’s finest vineyards, carefully chosen for their soil and microclimate. All their wines are vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, crafted with a philosophy that lets the quality of the grapes “paint” freely on a blank canvas.
