Wine Insiders is back!

You don’t need to know a lot about wine. You just need the desire to discover it! Following the impressive response to Wine 101: A Wine Insiders Crash Course, it’s time for the next step.

Botilia.gr presents the new cycle of Wine Insiders, a comprehensive introductory program to the world of wine. It is specially designed for those who want to acquire essential knowledge through tasting, analysis, discussion, and, of course, excellent wine.

Across four 2-hour sessions, you will learn the fundamental principles of both winemaking and wine tasting, sample selected Greek and international labels, and gain the knowledge that will allow you to choose, taste, and enjoy wine with greater confidence.

What you will learn:

• How wine is produced (basic winemaking methods for white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines).

• How to properly taste wine and identify aromas, flavors, acidity, tannins, and body.

• The most important Greek and international grape varieties.

• How to properly pair wine with food.

• How to choose the right bottle depending on the occasion, the food, and your budget.

What is included:

• 4 two-hour interactive sessions.

• Tasting of dozens of selected wines from Greece and around the world.

• Educational material.

• Small groups of participants, ensuring every session is truly interactive.

The instructor will be Vassilis Potamianos DipWSET. Together with the botilia.gr team, they will guide you in a simple, comprehensible, and enjoyable way through all the wine paths you wish to explore, turning theory into an experience.
