ANNE CLAUDE LEFLAIVE
Anne-Claude Leflaive, descendant of the legendary Leflaive winemaking family, was one of Burgundy’s most iconic figures. Her legacy is defined by the pioneering adoption of organic and later biodynamic viticulture in the region an audacious move as early as 1997, given Burgundy’s demanding climate. In 2006, Decanter magazine named her the “Best White Winemaker in the World,” affirming her global influence. Over the years, her career was adorned with international awards, distinctions, and countless honorary recognitions.
