DOMAINE DES ASPRAS

Domaine Des Aspras honors the extraordinary terroir with the secular fame, which the Benedictine monks of Montmajour had already recognized since the 13th century. The limestone hills surrounding the area gave it the name "asper" - (aspera, rockery in Latin). Today the land is organically cultivated at 95% and was initiated by Mayor Michael Latz, who gathered Correns residents in early 1995. Correns Village is France's 1st Organic Village, distinguished for its quality of life and the friendly approach to the environment. The unicorn, a symbol of strength and beauty, reflects their philosophy.
