DOMAINE NIKOS GAVALAS

The history of  Gavala estate begins in 1906 when Niko's grandfather, Emmanuel Gavalas, planted the first vineyards in the village of Agios Thomas, Heraklion and using the Minoan carvings of the village produced wine for the local market.Nowadays, with the third generation  winning internationally awarded wines from native and foreign varieties, this long tradition continues, increasing the prestige of the Cretan vineyard.
