In Rapsani, at the foothills of the southeastern side of Olympus and at an altitude of 550-700 meters, Dougos Winery is located since 1991. The winery uses organic farming methods and modern winemaking techniques. In the rich in iron, schist soils the varieties Xinomavro, Krasato, Stavroto, Limniona, Roditis, Assyrtiko, and the French Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Grenache Rouge are cultivated.
