TENUTA SAN GUIDO
Tenuta San Guido is located in the heart of Tuscany, near the village of Bolgheri, and is renowned for its iconic wine, Sassicaia. In 1940, Mario Incisa della Rocchetta planted Cabernet Sauvignon in the estate’s vineyards, crafting a wine originally intended for family consumption. In 1968, Sassicaia was released commercially, and by 1994 it received its own exclusive designation Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC making it the only Italian wine with a DOC status reserved for a single estate. Today, Tenuta San Guido produces Sassicaia, Guidalberto, and Le Difese, all bearing the signature of the Incisa della Rocchetta family. With vineyards spanning 2,500 hectares, the estate captures the authentic expression of Tuscan terroir.
