The Cantharellus cibarius or simply put, Chanterelle is a delicious mushroom with a characteristic fruity taste that goes well with pasta and risotto.
The Museum of Natural History of Meteora, having fully trained mushroom hunters, picks wild mushrooms on the hills and slopes of Meteora. There the climate and the flora are ideal for many different species of rare, wild mushrooms. One of them is the Cantharellus cibarius which is collected and dried in ideal conditions, maintaining its rich and intense aroma.
