Rioja Carbonica Artuke 2024 is unlike any Rioja you’ve ever tasted. Made using carbonic maceration—the same method that gives Beaujolais wines their explosive fruitiness—and with absolutely no oak aging, this wine is a fresh, vibrant take on tradition. It’s so impressive, in fact, that it scored 92 points from Robert Parker! And no, you’re not seeing things—the price really is that good.
The Artuke winery is located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa and continues a proud family winemaking tradition. Brothers Arturo and Kike de Miguel Blanco farm their vineyards with deep respect for nature and terroir, using organic practices and traditional winemaking techniques.
Rioja Carbonica Artuke 2024 is made from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Viura, with grapes hand-harvested from old vines growing at elevations between 450 and 550 meters. The wine is crafted using carbonic maceration, a technique that ferments whole grape clusters, resulting in explosive fruit aromas and silky tannins. It’s aged for 3 to 6 months in concrete tanks—no oak—preserving the wine’s freshness and purity of fruit.
