Cono Sur’s Bicicleta Pinot Noir is hands-down one of the most honest, no-nonsense Pinot Noirs you’ll find at this price point—and it just might be the ultimate summer wine. What more do you need to convince you to stock up?
Founded in 1993, Cono Sur Winery set out to craft quality wines from some of Chile’s most renowned regions, including Limarí, San Antonio, Maipo, Casablanca, Cachapoal, and Biobío. It’s part of the famous Concha y Toro group, Latin America’s largest wine exporter and one of the top 10 wine producers in the world.
Cono Sur’s reputation grew fast—and for good reason. They were among the first to adopt synthetic corks and screw caps, and they’ve been pioneers in organic and sustainable viticulture, always working with deep respect for nature. The bicycle on the label? It’s not just for show—it symbolizes how workers move around the vineyard by bike to reduce the winery’s carbon footprint. Pretty cool, right?
Cono Sur was also one of the first Chilean producers to take Pinot Noir seriously, investing in premium bottlings of this notoriously finicky grape. Pinot Noir demands just the right climate, soil, and winemaking finesse to shine—and in Chile’s cooler regions like San Antonio, Biobío, and Chimbarongo, it found its sweet spot. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, preserving the grape’s natural freshness and aromatic charm. A short stay in old oak barrels adds a subtle spicy touch that makes this Pinot simply irresistible.
Try it—you’ll see what we mean.
