Domaine Hatzimichalis is located in Atalanti and is one of the most historic wineries in Greece. Kapnias comes from a selected vineyard in Zygos. The vines are over 40 years old, with extremely low yields. The wine ferments and matures for 24 months, in new French 228-liter oak barrels. It is bottled unfiltered and can be aged for 20-25 years, so now, as you understand, it is at its peak.
