The vintage is a harmonious collaboration between nature and winemaking artistry, earning rave reviews from top wine critics: 98 points from Wine Enthusiast, 97 from James Suckling, 96 from Wine Spectator, and 17.5++ from Jancis Robinson MW.

Louis Roederer is one of the most prestigious and historic Champagne producers in the region. Now led by the seventh generation of the Roederer family, the house brings centuries of expertise and deep-rooted knowledge to every bottle. The estate spans 242 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, with 78 hectares certified biodynamic, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable, high-quality viticulture.

The 2015 vintage was exceptional in Champagne, with ideal weather conditions producing grapes that were rich, aromatic, and full of character. That same year, the region was honored with UNESCO World Heritage status, further highlighting its cultural and viticultural significance.

For Cristal 2015, something rare and remarkable happened. For the first time since 2002, the blend includes 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, sourced from 45 plots across 7 Grand Cru villages, all with vines over 20 years old. The result is a benchmark Champagne with depth, finesse, and a long, elegant finish. 25% of the base wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels before undergoing secondary fermentation in the bottle, followed by 6–7 years of aging sur lattes.

Cristal 2015 is a Champagne of exceptional finesse, intensity, and maturity—crafted to enchant even the most discerning connoisseurs.

Tastes Like

Pale lemon color with golden hues. The nose is complex and expressive, offering aromas of lemon, citron, roasted almonds, orange blossom, toasted bread, pink grapefruit, honey, vanilla, acacia flowers, hazelnut, and jasmine.

On the palate, it delivers silky yet persistent bubbles, crisp acidity, and a clear mineral backbone. Flavors of candied orange peel, wild strawberry, vanilla, lemon, pink grapefruit, hazelnut, and a subtle tannic structure lead to a long, balanced, elegant, saline, and nutty finish.

Louis Roederer’s vineyards are located in Champagne, with headquarters in Reims, and the house stands among the region’s most historic maisons, with origins dating back to 1776. The estate manages approximately 250 hectares of vineyards across prestigious Grand Cru and Premier Cru zones, making it one of the few houses that rely predominantly on their own grape production. With a strong commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture, Louis Roederer has earned international recognition for its iconic wines combining tradition, elegance, and exceptional aging potential.

PAIR IT

Enjoy it as an aperitif, or pair with: Beef filet with Café de Paris sauce, seafood risotto with lemon zest, sautéed scallops with celeriac purée and pine nuts.

Pasta with seafood sauce

  • 1 tbsp. of olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. of paprika
  • 400g chopped tomatoes
  • 1 liter of chicken broth (from cube is fine)
  • 300 grams of macaroni
  • 240g pack of frozen seafood mix
  • some parsley leaves, finely chopped,and slices of lemon for serving

Heat the olive oil in a wok or a large pan. Add onion and garlic and saute them in moderate heat for 5 minutes until they are softened. Add paprika, tomato and broth and let the mixture boil.

Reduce the heat to simmer and add the pasta. Cook for 7 minutes by stirring occasionally to avoid sticking together. If you use a ready mix of seafood, defrost it and add it in the end, cooking for another 3 minutes. Season with salt pepper as desired. Finally, sprinkle with parsley and serve with slices of lemon.
