Gastronome Brut 2018 has become a favorite of Michelin-starred restaurants, which was also the original reason for its production. To be able to accompany unique and special culinary delights!

Chardonnay grapes are hand-selected from three Grand Crus vineyards and two Premier Crus, each lends a unique character to this ultra-elegant champagne. After the 36-hour fermentation and malolactic fermentation, it remained for 8 months in stainless steel tanks and remained in the bottle with its leaves for about 3 years.

Freshness of fruit, lively acidity, round body, and a slight spicy touch combined with a very subtle effervescence, give a smooth and soft style of champagne that cannot leave you untouched.

Tastes Like

In the glass it is soft gold. Aromas of honeydew, cooked red apples, ripe pears, lemon tart, brioche pastry, and pink grapefruit. Subtle nutty aromas add extra complexity.

Round, medium bodied with a very elegant lingering effervescence. Flavors of sweet lemon, citrus, grapefruit, green apple jam, apricot, baked brioche and yeast. The gentle minerality and saltiness create a very interesting and long aftertaste.

Enjoy it alone as an aperitif or pair it with grilled salmon, tuna tartare, oysters

Steamed mussels with turmeric

  • 700 g mussels
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 Garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp.  turmeric
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • Olive oil
  • Salt (Optional)
  • Pepper

Wash the mussels under plenty of water, removing the sand and seaweed and thoroughly cleaning the shell.

Saute the onion and garlic and add the mussels. Then add 1 tablespoon sweet turmeric and one glass of wine. Let the alcohol evaporate a little and cover the pot to boil for 5'-6 '.

Agitate the pot, remove the cover and serve on a deep dish.

Add freshly ground pepper (salt is optional) and garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme.

TIP: During the wash, throw the open mussels. After cooking,  throw the closed mussels.
