Joya 2020 - Haritatos Vineyard

Sorry guys, we ran out of this one {{item.CannotBuyReason}}
Why do we love it?

Joya is the granddaughter of the Charitatos family, Melina's daughter. "My Joya", however, in the Kefalonian dialect, means "my joy" or "my eyes". So, they decided to name their favorite sweet wine from sun-dried Muscat, Joya Darling - Charitatou, a dessert wine, naturally sweet (ie without added sugar).

You may be impressed by the 750ml bottle since we are used to this type of wine in much smaller packages. But there is a reason. Joya Darling - Charitatou is not one of those too sweet wines that with the first sips you are overwhelmed. Here, prepare for many and very enjoyable glasses because its acidity is so refreshing that it clears the palette and makes you look forward to the next glass.

The bottles are extremely limited so, if you are looking for a glass of delicious sweet wine, take your measures in time.

Tastes Like

Orange with amber highlights in the glass. Rich nose, full of peach, dried apricots, nuts and raisins.

It continues in the mouth with the sweetness of the dried fruit being compensated by the accentuated acidity that refreshes the whole.

Haritatos Vineyard
Haritatos Vineyard, known to the Cephalonian circles for its love for the arts and culture, has been engaged for many years in vines and winemaking. In the family-owned vineyard, in Kladata of Cephalonia, with a beautiful house that looks like a photo of an exotic paradise, the local varieties of Moschato and Mavrodaphne are cultivated, while more recently Vostilidi made a successful reappearance.
