Why do we love it?

Lagos & Chelona Rose Nature Markogianni Winery is the new wine of the winery and is a hybrid of orange and rosé wine. Ripe citrus fruits, quince, persimmon and red fruits are mixed in an impressive set with a robust structure!

Markogianni Winery is located in Skillountia Olympia, Ilia. In recent years they have made a bold appearance on the wine scene with their impressive wines, mainly from local varieties, but also with their interesting "experimental" vinifications. Roditis Orange was the first orange wine they created that started experimentally but it slowly managed to conquer the entire wine-loving public. Now they return with something even more innovative. A wine from Roditis (45%), Refosco (22%), Mavroudi (20%) and Asproudes (13%) that combines rosé and red vinification. Roditis stays in contact with the marcs and waits for the other varieties, which after 12 hours of extraction will be separated from their marcs and will be united with the marcs and the must of Roditis. This blend will stay in contact with the marc of Roditis for 12 days. The wine fermented in stainless steel tanks, with ambient yeasts and is bottled unfiltered in just 1300 bottles.
