Reverie L’Heritage Korres is a refined rosé wine from the mountainous northwest of Naxos, where old, ungrafted Fokiano vines grow on steep terraces with sweeping views of the Aegean. Crafted by Panos and Spyros Zouboulis, whose expertise in the variety and remarkable history with rosé wines speak volumes.
Made exclusively from Fokiano, an indigenous variety that’s been gaining attention for its ability to produce pale, elegant, fruit-forward and structured rosés, Reverie L’Heritage Korres is a wine of both finesse and depth. The vineyard is certified organic, with selected biodynamic practices also in place. Sitting at 700–800 meters altitude, the vines benefit from the slope, the elevation, and their age — all of which contribute to concentrated, expressive fruit and vibrant acidity.
The grapes are hand-harvested early in the morning, followed by a strict double sorting — first in the vineyard, then at the winery — to ensure only the best fruit is used. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, and the wine is aged on its fine lees for 4–6 months, with regular bâtonnage to build texture and complexity. The result is a balanced, layered, and graceful rosé, with the versatility to pair beautifully with a wide range of creative Mediterranean cuisine — and beyond.
