ROSA CUSINÉ CAVA GRAN RESERVA - PARÉS BALTÀ

You have not tasted anything like this before. Rosa Cusiné is a rose Cava that and is like no other. The impressive bottle encloses a fine, sparkling wine from 100% Garnatxa Negra (Grenache Rouge) of biodynamic farming.

The winery is called Parés Baltà and its vineyards are spread around the high mountains of Penedes. Whilst it has a long history in winemaking (was founded in 1790), it has a completely new and modern look with two young oenologists, Maria Elena and Marta, at the wheel. Rosa Cusiné bears the name of the grandmother of the Cusiné family, which is behind the winery. They decided to dedicate this emblematic wine to her, as it reminiscent of her work, wisdom, energy and vitality over the years. Grenache ferments and matures for 3 months with its fine lees with continuous battonage. Then, second fermentation takes place in the bottle and aging for 30 months, according to the traditional method of Champagne.

The result impresses with its fine bubbles and complex character! Putting it in your glass, it will surely magnetize you like it did to us!

It has deep salmon color with orange hues.

Nose that magnetizes you from the very first moment with the aromas of red fruits, such as strawberry and white cherry, blending with quince and peach notes. Hints of white pepper, butter, yoghurt and sour dough bread give a more complex dimension to the whole.

On the palate it has medium body, refreshing acidity, soft, creamy bubbles and a suspicion of tannic substance. Strawberry, cherry, orange zest, pink grapefruit, peach, toast and honey make up a delicious set. Long lasting aftertaste reminding of toasted sourdough bread.
