A rare blend of two indigenous grape varieties!

Why do we love it?

Suffrazette 2023 from Zin Ideos Winery is a new and unusual blend of two indigenous Macedonian grape varieties that took us completely by surprise! Xinomavro and Amassi have been paired beautifully to create a thoroughly enjoyable combination of full body and refined aromas. It’s immediately joining the list of elegant rosés you’ll be drinking obsessively this summer!

Zin Ideos Winery is a small, family-run estate cultivating both Greek and international varieties in Loutraki, Almopia, near the famous Pozar thermal springs. Their three vineyards span nearly 9 hectares in Neromylos and Loutraki, with each grape variety planted where it performs best. Xinomavro thrives in Loutraki and Neromylos vineyards, while Amassi is grown between the two, at a higher altitude.

Suffrazette 2023 is made from 70% Amassi and 30% Xinomavro. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, and the wine matured with its fine lees for six months. The result is a rosé with depth, complexity, and wonderfully delicate aromas of strawberry and blackberry.

Don’t expect Suffrazette 2023 Zin Ideos Winery to be your typical light-bodied, low-acidity rosé. It stands out for its richer, more structured character, with volume, intensity, and refined elegance that makes it unbeatable alongside Mediterranean dishes—and beyond!

SUFFRAGETTE 2023 - ZINIDEOS WINERY

PAIR IT

Try it with aubergines in tomato sauce with feta, goat cheese and cherry tomato tart, or pork chops with tomato marmalade.

Tart with smoked chicken (apaki), cherry tomatoes and pepper

  • 1  pack of tart crust
  • 300 gr. Feta cheese grated
  • 200 gr. yogurt
  • 100 gr. cream cheese
  • 1 green pepper, cut into cubes
  • 100 gr. Chopped smoked chicken (apaki)
  • 6 cherry tomatoes sliced in half
  • 50 gr. olive fillets
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Bake the tart crust by placing baking paper on its surface and on top of it put some raw beans to prevent from puffing up while baking. Remove the tart from the oven after it is browned well and everywhere.

In a deep dish mix the cheeses with the yogurt.

Add the pepper, the fillet of olives and half the chicken to the cheese and yoghurt container and mix well.

Fill the tart crust with the mixture evenly and add the remaining chicken and tomatoes on the top.

Place the tart in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes.

Then, remove it from the oven, let it cool down and serve.
