Acclaimed oenologist Andreas Dourakis chose the hills of the village of Alikambos, located 40km outside of Chania, to establish the Durakis Winery in 1988. He has absolute respect for nature and concern for the effects that careless handling can have. On the land, decided to cultivate his vines in a completely organic and natural way. In fact, instead of chemical fertilizers, he used the parts of the grape left over from the production process (stems, seeds), to prepare a natural fertilizer that returns to the earth, creating a completely natural life cycle for the varieties.
Zelos Rose, expresses his passion for making wines of great distinction, while the combination of his knowledge and experience in Greek and foreign wineries made it even easier. The 80% Grenache Rouge loved the Cretan soil and gave very saucy aromas and tremendous finesse, while the 20% Syrah stimulated the flavors and gave it the strength it needed.
A spicy elegant rosé wine that can stand up culinary like a winged god!
