MAVRO KALAVRYTINO NATURE - TETRAMYTHOS WINERY

Tetramythos Winery is located in the slopes of Aigialeia and it's known for its steadily rising course and its dedication to local varieties. Mavro Kalavrytino is one of them, and if you haven't heard it yet, it's time to get to know it better. The team of Tetramythos created a landmark wine of the rare greek red variety. The absence of sulfites and other additives or interventions, the use of indigenous yeasts, and minimal oak maturation set the basis for a Mavro Kalavrytino in its purest - terroir-driven version. A really great wine, perfectly balanced, incredible value for money and in strictly limited bottles...

 

MERLOT - ARGYRIOU WINERY

Merlot Argyriou is a fantastic Merlot which, while having a rich, juicy fruit, balanced acidity, and perfectly integrated oak barrel. It would be extremely difficult not to love it with the first sip.

 

REGIETERRE NERO D'AVOLA - MUSITA WINERY

The family-owned Musita winery in Salemi, Sicily creates wines with Italian temperament that reflect the warm, sunny climate and volcanic terroir of Sicily. Regieterre is from Nero d'Avola, an exuberant red grape variety with luscious cherry aromas. The wine ferments and ages in French oak barrels of 225 liters for 10 months. That way it acquires a spicy and toffee character that blends perfectly with the juicy red and black fruit.

 

ORIVATIS RED - AKRIOTOU MICROWINERY

Passepartout wine, do not be afraid at all to pair it with dishes ranging from moussaka to bbq and from pasta with red sauce to grilled salmon. Although you can have it on its own, Orivatis is one of those to keep you company all around the year.

 

AIORA RED - MOSCHOPOLIS WINERY

The blend consists of Mavrotragano, Xinomavro, and Syrah, which initially ferment at controlled temperatures in a stainless tank. Then, about 40% goes into special clay amphorae from Crete and stays there for at least 2 months. They avoided using barrels because their goal was to create a red wine without much interference and "makeup". A wine dominated by the fruity character and the explosive aromas of the three varieties. Aiora Red Moschopolis Winery is a red wine that literally pulls you from the nose.

 

PINOT NOIR - VILLA WOLF (ERNST LOOSEN)

Pinot Noir from Villa Wolf is probably the most value for money Pinot Noir out there. Elegance, typicity, and juicy red fruit that can compete with each and every one of its french siblings.
