Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado is a very special new premium creation from Clase Azul, designed to honor traditional Mexican distillation through mezcal techniques, resulting in an intensely smoky profile.
The production process begins with the slow roasting of Blue Agave hearts in an underground oven lined with wood and volcanic stones, a method that imparts subtle smoky notes. This is followed by crushing, fermentation with proprietary yeast from selected agave fields, and double distillation in copper tubes. The result is a spirit with an earthy character, distinct from the usual blanco tequila expressions.
Blanco Ahumado is part of Clase Azul’s permanent collection, alongside the well-known Plata, Gold, Añejo, Ultra, and Reposado editions, further strengthening the brand’s global reputation. The bottle itself is a work of art inspired by nature and fire—semi-transparent glass with textures reminiscent of volcanic stone and copper details on the cap that reference the distillation process.
Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado offers aromas of smoked agave, plum, red apple, and fresh lemon. On the palate, it has a silky texture, pronounced minerality, and a distinctive smoky finish that lingers.
