The history of Diplomatico is deeply rooted in family values, dedication, and quality. The distillery, Destilerias Unidas, is located in Venezuela, and its production relies on locally grown sugarcane, transformed into rich molasses and fermented to create intense aromatic profiles. Distillation takes place through a unique combination of pot still, batch kettle, and column distillation, followed by aging in oak barrels that previously held bourbon and whiskey. The maestros roneros (master rum blenders) craft blends with a complexity comparable to the finest whiskies in the world.
The face of Don Juancho, a man who sought rare spirits and local products, is inspired by the noble Mantuanos of the 19th century, known for their refinement, reliability, and diplomacy. Thus, Diplomatico became a symbol of this culture and a jewel in the world of fine spirits.
