Kavalan is a single malt whiskey from the King Car distillery in Taiwan, which managed to win over not only the impressions but also the hearts of all whiskey lovers in a very short time. In the global whiskey market, we find several single malts that at the end of their maturation (the so-called finish) going through an oak barrel of port, but we rarely find one that has gone through barrels of three different types of port. The Concertmaster though is out of the ordinary and has matured in Ruby, Tawny, and Vintage port oak barrels, while initially maturing in American oak barrels!
Let us not forget that the climatic conditions that prevail in the area where the distillery is located and in general the terroir of the area, give us the largest share of angels (angel share) in the world, which reaches almost 13%. It is understood that here we are talking about the epitome of a distillery and that whatever we say will not be enough to describe it.
Balanced, flawless, it will excite even the most difficult ones.
Gold with red notes in our glass. Aromas of milk chocolate, red juicy fruits, coconut, vanilla impress. In the mouth, the sweet spices in combination with the juicy fruits flood the palate.
