Why do we love it?

Amauta Torrontes El Porvenir de Cafayate is an epic value for money wine that comes from 50-year-old vines, at an altitude of 1650 meters in Salta, Argentina, with impressive fruit purity and typicity. At this price, there is no wine that combines all of the above.

Torrontes is the aromatic, white variety of Argentina! It has tropical and stone fruits and a floral character, combined with sharp acidity. Imagine something like a cross between Moschofilero and Malagouzia. If you love aromatic, crisp wines then you will love Amauta Torrontes El Porvenir de Cafayate.

The El Porvenir de Cafayate family winery is located in Cafayate, Salta for 20 years now. They have succeeded in restoring old Tannat and Torrontes vines and creating wines that combine freshness and vivid acidity with juicy, dense fruit. Amauta Torrontes El Porvenir de Cafayate is one of them, as we mentioned above. The harvest takes place in two phases, in early and mid-February, to compose a wine with complexity, acidity, and intense fruit combined with floral character. To preserve all of the above, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, and malolactic conversion is avoided.

Amauta Torrontes El Porvenir de Cafayate is a wine, small in price, but great in taste and pleasure!

  • 1/3 cup of peas
  • 8 large shrimps peeled
  • 1 tsp. grated ginger
  • 3 tbsps. of soy sauce
