Chablis Domaine Grossot is a purebred and classic expression of Chardonnay, born from the special terroir of Chablis. What does this mean? High acidity, intense minerality, green apple, butter and lemon flood the palate.
Corinne and Jean-Pierre Grossot are the third and fourth generation of the winery. The family winery is located in the village of Fleys and their organic vineyards are spread over Fleys, Chichée and Fontenay. Their vineyards are located in some of the best sites of Chablis, over a soil rich in marine fossils and their wines belong to the elite of Chablis. Chablis Domaine Grossot comes from vineyards in Fleys, Chichée and Fontenay, from 35-year-old vines. The wine is fermented with ambient yeasts and matures for 10-20 months with its fine wine lees. It is bottled after gentle filtration and is enjoyable both now and after 10 years.
