Cuvée Malou 2025 Arktos Elevation Vineyards is the new white wine by Artemis Karamolegos, sourced from the cool-climate vineyards of Amyndeon. It won us over from the very first sniff, as it is a distinctive and aromatic blend of Malagouzia and Malvasia that combines the botanical and floral profile of the latter with the juicy fruit of the former!
Arktos Elevation Vineyards has made a dynamic start, offering Artemis Karamolegos the opportunity to explore a completely different terroir and the varieties that thrive in Agios Panteleimon and Xino Nero in Amyndeon. This time, he chose to focus on the Greek public’s favourite white variety, Malagouzia (90%), which he combined with a small proportion of Malvasia (10%).
Cuvée Malou 2025 Arktos Elevation Vineyards comes from vineyards at 650 metres altitude, where the climatic conditions allow the grapes to ripen slowly, giving the wine complex aromas and crisp acidity. Fermentation took place in stainless-steel tanks, highlighting the purity of Malagousia’s varietal character, while the 5-month maturation on the lees provided balance and richness on the palate.
The result is a refined, outgoing white wine that marries aromatic intensity with the freshness of Greece’s northernmost vineyard zone, and we’re certain you will love it just as much!
